On the 17th of March there were four matches in the French championship. The league leader, Strasbourg visited to Nice, and got a win as 7-4, although the match was egal till the end of the third quarter. The visitors won the closing period as 3-0, which resulted their 12th victory of the season.
Sixth place standing Lille won by 5 goals over Sete (15-10), Montpellier loses at home from third placing Pay’s d’Aix, and Olympic Marseille won in an easy game over Naisy – le – Sec.
